On Wednesday we are having the second of three sessions dealing with the issue of race and COVID. On January 27th, Join the Caribbean Solidarity Network on January 27, for a conversation with Issac Saney of the Canadian Network on Cuba. Dr. Saney is a Professor of History at Dalhousie University, and the author of Cuba: A Revolution in Motion (2003). We will discuss the vital role that Cuban medical brigades have played across the Caribbean, the lessons learned from Cuba’s internationalism, and the struggle to invent and distribute a true people’s vaccine against COVID-19.
